MacBook Pro Black Friday

If you were looking to buy yourself a 2018 MacBook Pro, then don’t do that just yet. Instead, be ready to spend the buck during the upcoming Black Friday.

After all, the prices for MacBook Pros go from about ₹120900 to around ₹230270, depending on the model. And that’s a lot of money, so why not save some on MacBook Pro Black Friday deals?

Black Friday hasn’t come yet, so no one can say what kind of deals you’ll be able to get. However, we could check out what kind of deals have been on MacBook Pros in the last years: thankfully, Apple is pretty consistent with Black Friday discounts and gifts.

Before we go into it, don’t expect too much from Apple. Half-price deals are a common occurrence on Black Friday, but not with Apple. Still, you could get some juicy deals with them.

So what kind of deals have been there with MacBook Pro?

For example, the ₹189000 2016 MacBook Pro with a 15-inch display and Touch Bar back in the days was sold for₹174000, at a huge₹49000 discount.

The junior 13-inch model was sold for ₹94000, ₹28700 knocked off its regular ₹123277 price tag.

Both those deals feature about 25% off, so it’s safe to say that it will be the same for 2018 MacBook Pros.

Now that we have established what you could expect from Black Friday this year, let’s see where you could get yourself a MacBook Pro from.

Probably the first place to come to mind is the Apple Store that in past years has started their sale on November 23. However, if things go the same way they went in the past, then this will be a sale to skip.

The thing is that Apple is really stingy when it comes to Black Friday. Probably the most you’ll get with them is a gift card. They typically didn’t even offer discounts, so you’d still need to pay the full price for a MacBook Pro.

They do offer free shipping on all the orders, though that’s a thing that most retailers do nowadays as well, so nothing surprising or astonishing here.

However, things change with other stores and online retailers. Stores like Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and many others have actually offered very interesting deals.

So if you are looking to save money on a MacBook Pro – which you should since that thing is quite pricey – then you might want to go for stores other than Apple Store.

Top Black Friday discounts usually start on Thursday, which is on Thanksgiving Day. They also typically carry over the weekend into the Cyber Week that will also have some great deals in store. Apple doesn’t typically have their own Cyber Monday sale, but many retailers have been doing it in past years.

It’s safe to say that you’ll have the time to think over your purchases, but you shouldn’t hesitate for too long because you could just miss the opportunities altogether.

MacBook Pro features

Vivid display & high-fidelity audio

MacBook Pros have always had astonishing displays, and the 2018 generation isn’t an exception.

The displays of either 13- and 15-inch MacBook Pros feature easy-on-the-eyes LED backlighting and high contrast ratio that make the so recognizable image with deep blacks and bright whites.

The white balance in the MacBook Pro displays automatically adjusts to match the color temperature of your room’s illumination. If you were being irritated by out-of-place display backlighting in your room, then MacBook Pro may pleasantly surprise you.

MacBook Pro is also great in the fields of audio. Its high-fidelity, balanced & wide dynamic range, and more bass will most likely satisfy any music lover. And since the speakers are directly connected to the system’s power, you’ll also get greater peak amplification.

Excellent performance

2018 MacBook Pros also have plenty of power to boast.

How about an eight-generation Intel i9 processor? Or up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory? If you are ready to pay the price of the top configuration, then you’ll get truly brilliant performance for a portable computer.

The graphics performance is especially noteworthy in the 2018 MacBook Pro. While the 13-inch model with Touch Bar features an integrated graphics card, the 15-inch model comes with a Radeon Pro discrete GPU with 4GB of GDDR5 memory. If you are planning to work with images or videos on the go, then you’ll certainly appreciate the performance level of the 15-inch Pro.

Apple is also going to release 15-inch MacBook Pros equipped with Radeon Pro VEGA GPUs in late November. Apple doesn’t announce the exact date, but maybe they’ll release this version of the MacBook Pro while the Black Friday discounts are still at charge.

So yeah, the mobile VEGA GPUs feature the new High Bandwidth Memory (HBM2) which doubles the memory bandwidth while consuming less energy. Sounds great, right?

Touch Bar functionality

Another thing that MacBook Pros have always had is ergonomic controls, but the latest generations pushed easiness of use forward thanks to the Touch Bar.

The Touch Bar is essentially a narrow touchscreen above the keyboard that replaces the traditional function keys. The Touch Bar sure looks cool, but it also is very convenient: you can browse through your apps and tools on it, which obviously wasn’t possible with physical keys.

Touch ID-powered security

If you have an iPhone 5S or newer, then you know what Touch ID is. It proved to be more secure and more convenient than the classical password-based authentication.

Apple integrated their secure fingerprint-based recognition system to the latest MacBook Pro generations, allowing you to quickly access the computer and make online purchases in an instant.

Elegant design

As years go by, MacBook Pros become sleeker and more pleasant to the eye. Not that they haven’t been such in the previous generations, but the 2018 MacBook Pro is the peak of elegance at the moment.

And which Apple device isn’t?

If you really care about the way your electronic devices look, then you’ll certainly appreciate what the MacBook Pro has to offer.
